PERFORMANCE PROGRAM: CV/resume; recordings of repertoire from the last 100 years (via mp3 or CD); letters of recommendation (strongly suggested); a list of any prospective chamber works you are interested in working on during SICPP (optional); solo repertoire you will have prepared by June 14th and would like to be considered for performance in masterclass (piano and percussion only) and/or on afternoon concerts at the Gardner Museum (all instrumentalists and vocalists)
COMPOSITION/NEW WORKS PROGRAM: Bio/artist's statement; three (3) works (for no more than 6 players, any instrumentation welcome, use of electronics welcome) to be considered for performance at SICPP (both hard copies of scores and an emailed pdf required, recordings of performances strongly suggested); letters of recommendation (optional)
ELECTRONIC WORKSHOP: Bio/artist's statement; a specific proposal for a project/piece you would like to focus on throughout the week; and a link to an existing, online portfolio (please provide us with the exact URL in the space provided) OR a hard copy of your portfolio, mailed to the address above.
Percussionists, Instrumentalists and Vocalists: $650
Electronic workshop: $650
All of the above require a $40 application fee payable on the NEC website on completion of the application form below.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance. Those not accepted as active participants are encouraged to enroll as auditors.
SICPP as a program assumes your relative independence in the city of Boston outside the activities of the program. We therefore have no arrangement for board. However, we do have an arrangement for affordable housing options near NEC - click here for more information.
